History & Facts

Founded in 1968 the bengals had lots of problems as an NFL team. its seems they never catch a break. but most critics blame this “bad luck” to poor management. Paul brown and later on his son mike brown managed the team ever since it was formed and it seems that they never got a break or achieve greatness .this is because some of their draft choices that looked promising on paper didn’t pen out on the field and the team never had a good wining streak. this may be changing this last couple of years when we see some rising stars from their team and some good season wins coming. maybe the 2012 season will be their year? we will wait and see.

Conference championships : 2 –  1981, 1988 AFC

Division championships : 7 –  AFC central 1970, 1973, 1981, 1988, 1990 AFC North 2005, 2009

Playoff Appearances : 10 – NFL 1970, 1973, 1975, 1981, 1982, 1988, 1990, 2005, 2009, 2011
