The team was founded back in 1995 along side to the panthers as an extension team. as they are a very young team there learning curve is a little bit longer then other teams but still they are a solid team with good future ahead of them.they have made it into six playoffs and won two division titles.

Division championships : 2 –  AFC Central 1998, 1999

Playoff Appearances : 6 – NFL 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2005, 2007
